The Ark has a new opportunity available for an innovative Director of Strategy & Programs. This role has significant growth potential in several areas. The chosen individual will be the point person for the organization’s strategic planning initiatives, implementation of newly developed programs and cross-functional integration. As a newly added leadership opportunity, this role demands experience in directing transformational initiatives, success in human services, program development, professional team management, and strategic planning/implementation. This position reports directly to the CEO.
We are seeking a Housing Program Manager & Client Coordinator to lead the implementation of The Ark’s housing strategy, assist in developing new crisis housing solutions, and oversee our existing housing programs. This individual will also play a major part in helping to develop financial assistance offerings for housing subsidies while continuing to identify housing situations which best serve client needs and address unstable/homeless situations. The candidate will interact with clients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, work to form strong relationships with other agencies/housing services, and be a strong resource for case managers. This position will report to The Ark’s Director of Strategy & Programs.
The Ark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Russian-speaking Clinical Case Manager with a deep understanding of Russian culture and traditions. Working with a diverse population in our Northwest location, this individual will have exceptional assessment and communication skills, the ability to identify specific needs and to provide intervention as needed. In addition to having a collaborative style, the candidate must provide detailed documentation in Ark’s CRM (Salesforce). This is a full-time position and will report to the Director of the Northwest Office. The chosen candidate will have growth opportunity within the role and will also contribute input to consistently improve, refresh, and grow the Northwest environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will regularly identify sources for outreach purposes and be comfortable with making presentations to educate individuals and groups on what the Ark offers.
The Ark is excited to offer a new opportunity with potential for growth and impact within our Development team. We are seeking an experienced Donor Officer to support the Ark’s $7.5 million annual fundraising program, an ongoing $22+ million capital campaign, and long-term program and endowment giving efforts. As a key member of a growing team, the Donor Officer’s primary responsibility will be to qualify, cultivate, and solicit donors capable of making five- and six-figure gifts for annual, capital, and endowment purposes. This full-time, salaried position will report to the Director of Development.
The Ark, an iconic human services agency serving the Chicagoland Jewish Community, seeks a reliable Weekend Resident Manager for our transitional housing location. This position is a perfect opportunity for meaningful weekend work and occasional weekday/weeknight opportunities. Providing a private furnished apartment, with all meals included while on duty, the chosen candidate will have supervisory experience and effective communication skills, combined with sensitivity. This candidate will report to the Director of Transitional Housing.
The Ark, an iconic social service agency serving Chicagoland’s Jewish community for more than 50 years, is offering an interesting and meaningful Overnight Manager position for our transitional housing facility. This role is on an as needed basis and the individual will perform several duties beginning late afternoon and during the evening. The candidate will be provided with private sleeping arrangements and meals. A short training will be required. If selected, responsibilities and information will be discussed in detail during the interview process.
