Food Pantry and Assistance

Feeding the Community

The Rhea Segal Food Pantry Program provides nutritious kosher food, personal care items, and household essentials at no cost.

About the Pantry

Kosher food can cost between 20-50% more than standard food items as special preparation is required to comply with religious guidelines. We believe that no one should have to choose between food and their religious beliefs.

The pantry provides nutritious kosher food to hundreds of clients through a client choice model. Clients work with their case managers to select their groceries, and orders are filled by staff and volunteers. The pantry also provides non-food essentials, such as toiletries and household supplies. Our pantry gets stocked by donations from the community, donations from community partners, and purchased items as needed.

If you need food assistance or access to our pantry, The Ark is here for you. All clients have access to the food pantry and create orders in conjunction with their case managers. We use a client choice model to ensure that you get the most applicable options for you and your family. You have the option to pick up your pantry bag from either of our locations in-person, pick up in a drive-through format, or get your pantry bag delivered.
