Everything we do is funded entirely by philanthropy. Your gift to The Ark has the power to change lives, and we can’t do it without you.
A gift to The Ark supports comprehensive, individualized services for Chicagoland Jews navigating hardships and uplifts those most vulnerable in our community.
Examples of what your gift can support include:
$1,800 helps subsidize a month’s rent for a struggling family
$1,000 pays for a month of therapy for a client dealing with mental health challenges
$540 funds employment counseling for a client dealing with job loss
$360 covers routine dental cleanings for a young couple without dental insurance
$180 covers a client’s prescription for an inhaler to address long-term treatment of asthma
$54 supplies one month of diapers for a family with a new baby
There are many ways to give back to The Ark and make a difference for our clients and our community. Your contribution, at any level, has a life-changing impact for those who come to The Ark in search of support. Explore our various giving options below, and please contact us with any questions at 773-681-8980 or reach out by email.
The Ark has provided vital human services to our community for more than 50 years. After three decades on California Avenue, the time is now to renovate and expand our home in West Rogers Park. Our uplifting, landmark renovation will help The Ark better serve our clients with the dignity they deserve and to meet the emerging needs of the community.
The Ark’s signature annual fundraiser has been a cherished community tradition for more than two decades. Because our dinner is “Dinner-Less,” you know that your generous support goes directly where it is needed most: providing free, life-changing services for Chicagoland Jews in need.
Members of The Ark’s Legacy Society have made a commitment to support and sustain our vital work by recognizing The Ark in their estate plans. You can create a legacy at The Ark through a bequest, a gift of life insurance, as a beneficiary of your retirement or other benefit accounts, an annuity, trust, and more. Please contact Adam Parker, Director of Development, to learn more today.
The Ark’s work each and every day is a mitzvah. We know that The Ark is changing the lives of people with incredible care, respect and empathy.
