The Ark Legacy Society

The Ark Legacy Society honors those who have created a lasting legacy through their estate plans. Legacy Society members have completed a Declaration of Intent to provide for The Ark in various ways that will provide permanent support for The Ark and sustain our vital mission and programs for decades to come.

We are grateful for their vision, generosity, and dedication to our community.

What is a Legacy Gift?

There are many ways to create a legacy gift, each of which has different benefits, and all of which will have a profound impact for the future of The Ark, and our community. Some of the most common are:

  • A bequest in a will, trust, or estate plan
  • Designating The Ark as a beneficiary on a retirement account, pension fund, or life insurance policy
  • Making a cash gift to The Ark’s endowment
  • Establishing income-generating gift through a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust

To get started, you should discuss these options with your attorney or financial advisor, to understand what option is right for you.

If you need a recommendation for a professional to speak with, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to help!

When you are ready, contact Adam Parker, Director of Development, to share your plans and complete a Declaration of Intent form.
