We are grateful to everyone who joined us on Sunday, December 7 as The Ark and the Chicago Jewish Historical Society welcomed community members for a special partnership program highlighting The Ark’s history, evolution, and continued impact.

We were honored hear from CJHS President Rachelle Gold and Ark CEO Marna Goldwin, and to learn from a rich panel discussion moderated by longtime Ark supporter and Trustee, Nathan Bloch, Allen Ray, an early Ark activist and Board President in the 1980s, and Mimi Seleski, Ark Clinical Manager. Together, they shared stories about The Ark’s founding; the visionary leadership of Dr. Binyomin Sokol z”l and Rabbi Yehoshua Eichenstein z”l; and the continued expansion of services to meet the evolving needs of today’s Jewish community.
