Stephanie Roseman is a human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience in talent strategy, organizational transformation, and HR operations. She currently serves as Chief People Officer at Fortis Fire & Safety and leads Phoenix HR Consulting, where she advises organizations and executives on workforce strategy and organizational effectiveness.  

Throughout her career, Stephanie has held senior leadership roles at Fortune 10, Fortune 100, and private equity-backed companies. Her work has included guiding business transformations, acquisitions, and workplace culture initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.  

Stephanie is committed to community service and Jewish communal life. As a member of The Ark’s Board of Directors, she will use her experience in leadership, organizational development, and people strategy to support The Ark’s mission and strengthen its work throughout the community. 

We asked Stephanie to reflect on what resonates most with her about The Ark’s mission and the leadership values she hopes to bring to the Board.

1. What part of The Ark’s mission or work resonates most with you?  The part of the work that resonates most with me is the focus on both dignity and self-reliance.   

The first time I entered the building and saw the carefully throughout design to provide clients with a safe, dignified space to obtain resources, I knew that The Ark shared these values of mine! 

2. What have you learned about building strong organizations and teams that you hope to bring to your service on the Board?   

The values of transparency, trust, and integrity and the environment those create together
