In honor of my Bar Mitzvah, I’m excited to collect donations to support The Ark.
The Ark has been providing vital human services and strengthening the Chicagoland Jewish Community since 1971. More than 5,000 people are supported by The Ark each year. All of their services are free, and each person works with a case manager to help them access services, and face life’s challenges together.
This organization is particularly meaningful for me, because my late grandmother, Lora Shapiro, spent over 25 years working at the Ark as a social worker, and dedicated much of her life to helping members of the Jewish community.
