The Dinner-Less Dinner, The Ark’s signature annual fundraiser, raised more than $1 million last year to help The Ark provide the widest array of vital services to the broadest cross-section of the Chicagoland Jewish community. When the Dinner-Less Dinner was established more than 20 years ago, it was a pioneering program for its time. Since then, more and more organizations have joined The Ark in dedicating precious contributions from their donors to their core work, rather than spending money on food, décor, entertainment, and more. The Ark’s pathbreaking fundraising model has inspired others in the United States and Israel, and we are grateful that our community continues to support this treasured event each year.
