The ARK’s Covid-19 Response:
Clients, Donors and Friends,
The ARK has temporarily adjusted its service offerings to ensure that we can continue delivering essential services to both new and existing clients, while protecting the health and safety of our staff and volunteers during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The ARK is unable to test for or treat Coronavirus or other serious medical conditions or emergencies. If you are experiencing a serious medical emergency, including symptoms that may be related to COVID-19, please Call 911 or seek immediate medical attention from a doctor.

Health and Medical Clinic:
If you are experiencing potential symptoms of the Coronavirus, such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing – please do not come to The ARK. It is also very important that you please stay more than 6 feet away from other people.

We are available to treat existing clients for minor emergencies by appointment only. For more information, please contact The ARK at 773-973-1000.
Prescriptions: We continue to fill prescriptions for existing clients but are limiting access to the facilities. To arrange for your refill pick-up or delivery, please contact The ARK at 773-973-1000.
Dental Care: We are available to treat existing clients for dental emergencies only.
Food Pantry: We continue to assist new and existing clients with their food pantry needs. For the safety of our clients, staff, and volunteers, we are pre-packing standard pantry items and handing these to clients outside of the facilities. We apologize that this will mean limited choices, temporarily, but please understand that safety must come first, and we are also serving a sudden and significant spike in the number of pantry clients.
Social Services: We continue to assist new and existing clients with rent and utility financial assistance, applying for government benefits, and providing community referrals. For the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers, we are providing these services by phone in the interim.
Employment Services: We continue to provide employment services to both new and existing clients, while helping them apply for unemployment benefits. For the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers, we are providing these services by phone in the interim.
